THE CARLY was born in the middle of the pandemic, inspired by a family binge-watch of Schitt’s Creek. In the weeks, months, and eventually years that followed, it grew into something much more—a retreat from the grind of corporate life, a creative outlet, and a reflection of our shared values, experiences, and interests.
At its heart, THE CARLY is about connection. Slowing down. Stepping away. Spending meaningful time with the people who matter most, surrounded by nature and beauty, both inside and out. It’s about getting back to what really matters—simple pleasures, thoughtful design, good food, art, family, and friends.

We cleared and restored the hillside, removing invasive blackberry and poison oak to make way for sunlight and space—inviting the ferns, birds, and deer to return. The gardens and meadow were thoughtfully planted to bloom with the seasons, creating a vibrant, ever-changing landscape. Now, it’s a haven for pollinators, butterflies, and the quiet magic of nature doing what it does best.
